How to attract Japanese Investors to Cambodia

Many Japanese companies are investing in Southeast Asia but not Cambodia! Why??? There are some concerns raised by the Japanese investors regarding Cambodia such as lack of transparency, corruption, less flexibility in negotiation, lack of infrastructure, and particularly lack of legal framework to guarantee/serve the interests of the investors. Japanese investors have a long term business vision unlike Chinese and Korean investors therefore Japanese require more! This is just a short observation. So please post your comments here! Thanks

Cambodia needs to reduce red tape and corruption in order to attract foreign investors. If Cambodian leaders have a political will to do so then it would not be very difficult. Cambodia will be a destination for Japanese investors. Natural resources and labor are the main supply for investors in Cambodia.
