Culture and development are twin. They go hand in hand. It is necessary to discuss the linkage between culture and development in cambodia. Cambodia has a great history and culture. We need to dig out our identity based on which we could use to develop our society. Buddhist philosophy, team work and collective actions, sharing and caring community, etc. all of these values are embedded in Cambodian culture which the international donors tend to forget or emphasize. So far very few literatures on Cambodian/Khmer identity. I strongly urge each of us to do research and provide your findings and comments here in this blog. Thanks
